Everyone is familiar with conflicts that occur within the organizations – when work is making you stressed, it is likely to be related to intra-organizational conflicts. People tend to react emotionally or become avoidant when there are disputes. However, neither reaction is a good way of solving a problem or of resolving an uncomfortable relationship. Therefore, dealing with interpersonal issues and conflicts of opinions in positive ways is very important for effective organizational management. This course delineates the causes of interpersonal conflicts, evaluates conflict situations, and provides appropriate confrontational strategies and tools. The participants will also learn about what elements provoke emotional responses and how to control one’s own emotions. Overall, this course presents techniques for managing conflicts productively.
