㈜메타 컨설팅의 대표인 John Kim은 서울글로벌스타트업센터에서 멘토 역할을 수행하고 있습니다.

Seoul Global Startup Center
John Kim, the CEO of META, has been working as a mentor at the Seoul Global Startup Center since 2020. There, he provides professional advice on topics in organizational development such as human resources management, intercultural management, and organizational culture for non-Korean CEOs of corporations based both in Korea and abroad. For example, he recently conducted a workshop for 20 foreign CEOs who reside in Seoul on cross-cultural differences and Korean corporate culture. He also does general organizational development: he recently provided an online training and mentoring session for 70 Peruvian CEOs on human resources management and organizational management. He will continue focusing on assisting managers and executives from different countries to help them understand which HR systems and organizational cultures are suitable for their business environments.

제넥신
국내 대표적 바이오 기업인 제넥신에서 조직문화 및 직원 몰입도 진단에 대한 자문을 실시하였습니다. 핵심가치 내재화를 위한 일환으로 실시된 두 가지 진단 및 개선 프로젝트에 대해서 자문을 제공한 것이며, 조직 현황과 앞으로 기대되는 조직 변화의 방향 설계에 대하여 의견을 보태게 된 것입니다. META는 다양한 기업들의 조직문화 현상에 대하여 진단 및 분석하고, 변화 관리의 방향을 제시하고 있습니다.

Genexine
John Kim has provided counsel to Genexine, one of the most advanced biotech companies in Korea, on organizational culture and employee engagement. He did this by running two diagnoses—one for each of those topics—and subsequent change management projects to help them internalize their core values. He also gave them his professional their current organizational status and how they could design their future direction. META diagnoses and analyzes various phenomena in organizations.

미쓰윤
최근 급성장하는 공고홍보대행사인 미쓰윤에서 조직문화 및 직원몰입도(employee engagement) 관련 진단 및 개선 프로세스에 대한 자문을 실시하였습니다. 2020년 1년간 진행되었으며, 전반적인 조직문화에 대한 설문 진단, 현재 조직문제와 이슈를 파악하기 위한 FGI, 관리자들의 역량 파악을 위한 역량 모델링, 앞으로 필요한 변화 및 그에 따른 전략 자문 등으로 이루어졌습니다.

Missyoon
John Kim also provided counsel to Missyoon, a rapidly-growing advertisement company. He did this by performing a diagnosis and then designing an improvement process for their organizational culture and their employee engagement. This all took place over the course of 2020 and comprised a comprehensive culture survey, a focus group interview to reveal current organizational issues, competency modeling to evaluate their managers’ competencies, and a final analysis of needed changes and necessary strategies.

John Kim은 2020년 BCK에서 직원 몰입도 진단을 실시하여 앞으로의 개선 방향을 제시하였습니다. 뿐만 아니라 아시아 지역의 HR Head 및 CEO에게 이 결과를 영문 보고를 하는 등 고객사의 현황에 맞는 개선 전략을 입안하는데 자문을 제공하였습니다.

Beckman Coulter Korea
John Kim conducted an employee engagement diagnosis and provided future directions for BCK in 2020. In addition, he provided counsel to the HR head in Singapore and the regional CEO in Hong Kong on their improvement strategies considering their business environment. This whole process was conducted in English, and the resulting report was written in English as well.

조광페인트
오랜 역사를 갖고 있는 조광페인트의 조직문화와 직원 몰입도, 팀장 리더십 역량 모델링 등에 있어 전반적인 진단과 개선 방향 마련에 대한 자문을 실시하였습니다. 온라인 설문, FGI, 역량 모델링, 직원 몰입도 진단 등의 방법으로 실시되었으며, 2018년과 2020년 2회에 걸쳐 시행되었습니다. 본 고객사는 앞으로 성장 문화와 혁신 문화 구축에 중점하고 있습니다.

Chokwang Paint
John Kim provided counsel to Chokwang Paint, which was founded in 1947. He performed a comprehensive diagnosis and designed an improvement plan for their organizational culture and their employee engagement. He also developed competency modeling for their team leaders. This process involved an online survey, FGI, competency modeling, and an employee engagement diagnosis. The whole process was done once in 2018 and a second time in 2020. This client company will concentrate on growth and creating an innovative culture.

Schunk Carbon Technology 2017/2018/2019
John Kim 대표는 독일계 기업인 Schunk Carbon Technology의 아시아 지역 리더십 퍼실리테이터를 2년간 맡게 되었습니다. 한국, 호주, 중국, 태국, 인도, 대만 등의 매니저에서 부사장님들까지 주요 관리자들이 참여하시게 되는데요. 리더십 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 5개월에 한번씩 한국, 중국, 태국, 인도를 돌며 각각 3~4일짜리 영어 워크샵을 진행하게 되구요. 리더십 교육뿐만 아니라 실제 리더십 계발을 위한 코칭 및 피드백도 제공하게 됩니다. OD의 중요 영역인 Leadership Development Program의 Designer와 Facilitator로서의 역할을 앞으로 아시아 전역에서 충실히 해 나가겠습니다. 감사합니다.

Schunk Carbon Technology 2017/2018/2019
Most recently, John Kim has been working as leadership development facilitator for a German manufacturing company (www.schunk-carbontechnology.com), which he will continue to do until late 2019. During this time, he will design and deliver workshops to 20 managers and executives who come from 8 countries in Asia. He also provides them with leadership coaching and feedback regarding the progress of their leadership development. Workshops are to be held in Seoul, Shanghai, Bangkok and Delhi every five or six months. The workshops deal primarily with enhancing awareness and specific leadership capabilities. Every workshop is conducted in English.

서울장학재단

Seoul Scholarship Foundation
Since one of META’s corporate values is to help people who need support, META has written a memorandum of understanding with the Seoul Scholarship Foundation (http://www.hissf.or.kr) that provides support to students who receive scholarships. During the program, 15 HR professionals from large corporations will help 30 college students find jobs after their graduations this year or early next year. This memorandum of understanding will be effective for a year, and will provide recipients with mentoring services so that they can best design their career paths. META is happy to have this opportunity to lay the foundation for becoming a more responsible organization and to play a role in Korean society through this partnership with the Seoul Scholarship Foundation.

John Kim is currently serving as a member of the advisory committee of Jisik Vitamin Co., Ltd.( http://www.1234way.com/), a company that produces magazines about effective management. His purpose on the committee is to help make the contents of its magazine more practical for its readers in the realms of organizational development. He also provides discussion-based workshops to Jisik Vitamin’s client organizations on how to implement tools and techniques highlighted in the magazine.

John Kim 대표는 해외에 현지 법인을 갖고 있는 롯데 그룹하의 12개 계열사가 공동으로 참여하는 Global HR 연구회의 지도 교수로 활동할 예정이며,
국가간 조직 문화 비교 등의 프로젝트 수행 지도 및 연구 평가, 강의 등을 2017년 하반기 진행 할 예정입니다.

Lotte Group 2017
John Kim is scheduled to work as an advisory professor of Global HR Research Group, in which 11 subsidiaries of Lotte Group, each of which has subsidiaries abroad, jointly participate. His responsibilities include serving as an advisor on projects, evaluating research, lecturing, and helping to compare organizational cultures across countries.
